Benefits of gratitude
So know you know what gratitude is, I want to talk more about the benefits of gratitude. There are a lot of different benefits for practicing gratitude in your life. Scientific research has shown that people that practice gratitude:
Have a better coping mechanism
have stronger relationships
Experience more pleasure
Have more positive feelings
Have more empathy
Are more self-aware
Find more coherence in life
Elevate others and make a difference in the world.
So what are you waiting for?
How can you apply gratitude in your life?
Express your gratitude towards yourself, to your husband, boyfriend, friends, family, colleagues,… See what happens when you express your gratitude towards others,… See what happens in the long run with your relationships. How many times do we take our different relationships for granted? I know I have. We express our feelings to little to other persons. We think that they know how we feel inside, but do we really?

There are also other ways to practice gratitude. You can also:
Journal every evening or week about the thing that you’re grateful for.
Write a letter to a special person that you are grateful for.
Mediate on gratitude.
Practice saying “thank you” in a meaningful way to others.
You can write small notes to others.
Gratitude meditation practice
You can read the description of the meditation:
Sit in a comfortable position.
Make sure that your spine is straight.
Close your eyes.
When you breath in to the nose, pull you shoulder to ears.
When you breath out drop the shoulders and breath out to the mouth.
Repeat a couple of times.
Place your hands on your heart. Make connection to your heart.
